When the developers approached us to brand their new three-star hotel in Nakuru County, they had a unique challenge: how to position a property that offered both easy access to Nakuru City and breathtaking lakeside views. Andhari Suites & Residences also needed to stand out in a competitive market by celebrating this dual identity – a convenient urban basecamp that still connected guests to the raw beauty of Lake Nakuru National Park. Our task was to build an entire brand ecosystem that would capture this balance, from the name itself to every touchpoint guests would encounter.
The brand identity centered on a clever logo mark that told the hotel’s story at a glance. We combined the elegant arch of a window (symbolizing the urban suite experience) with a setting sun reflected on water (nodding to those unforgettable lake views). The color palette of deep navy, warm beige, and vibrant sunset orange reinforced this harmony – sophisticated enough for business travelers, yet earthy and inviting for safari-goers.
This visual language extended seamlessly across all applications: embossed stationery, staff uniforms with subtle arch motifs, and wayfinding signages that used the sunset gradient to guide guests through spaces.
For the launch, we crafted promotional materials that highlighted Nakuru’s unique duality. Brochures featured split designs – one side showcasing the hotel’s modern amenities, the other bursting with wildlife photography. The tagline “Where urban pulse meets lakeside serenity” became the narrative thread across billboards, digital ads, and even employee training manuals. When Andhari opens its doors, every detail – from the lobby’s arched mirrors reflecting lake-blue walls to the safari-ready concierge kits – will make guests feel they’ve found the perfect pivot point between adventure and comfort.
