As an internet service provider with over a decade in business, how do you get disruptive in a changing and more competitive world? As a player in the digital space how do you reinvent yourself to align with the changing digital landscape? 

These are among the questions that Alwen Networks was confronted  with as they looked to reinvigorate their customer facing brand Fibreconnect. The company had existed operating as Alwen Networks, but it needed a new name that customers can connect to and a visual identity to match.

Our engagement with the company started in early 2020. We uncovered quickly that we needed to signal Fibreconnect as a reliable service provider to dissociate from the rampant unreliability evident in the ISP space in Kenya.

We spoke boldly about the company offering, the affordable packages as well as all the possibilities that reliable Internet brought to its users.

We developed the brand identity complete with print and digital collaterals in every customer touch point. 

The visual language we adopted signalled to the target demographic which comprised young adults below 35 years as a brand they can connect with, but reliable and stable enough to handle their growing connectivity demands. 

Since Fibreconnect launched the new brand, it has gained wide brand recognition and  as a second tier internet service provide. The brand continues to achieve major success reaching new markets within Kenya.
